Every day I interpret this differently there’s a balance of darkness, through the more muted palate, the smudging and glimmers of hope, depicted in the pops of blues and yellows are truly interchangeable depending on my mood. I love owning this dynamic, sophisticated painting.

We commissioned Ged to paint 2 paintings of our old house in East Lothian. The paintings give us a constant reminder of beautiful East Lothian and especially our garden, all be it now from far away. We commissioned Ged to create an abstract piece of artwork for a large area of our home. We needed an impacting and unique painting with depth and interest that is eye catching. Ged was really great to deal with. He worked closely with us to understand what we wanted from the piece. We wanted to commission Ged to do a large painting for our living room. As we live in Northern Ireland we decided to invite Ged to come and create the work in our house rather than ship it over from Scotland. He agreed to this and it was a great experience as we got to see the painting take shape before our eyes.

We used to live and work in London and although an abstract work, Ged has included representations of the capital’s landmarks in the painting which makes for a fascinating visual puzzle.The end result is a wonderfully vibrant talking point.
